At Emma Daniel Arts Training Institute EDATI we endeavor to make sure that students become the best they can by offering courses that are hands on.

Our main objective is to create today’s entrepreneur. This can only be achieved by offering courses that guarantee self-reliance and self-employment as opposed to the traditional culture where people train for employment.

At Emma Daniel Arts Training Institute, we recognize that every student has a God given talent; that every student is creative, that every one needs to succeed. Therefore we are committed to help students come into confident possession of their innate talent.

Most of the students we enroll are those that have passion in the courses that we offer. For us school grades are not a determinant factor because like our Chief Executive Chef and founder of the school says,” you can be a D student in school but end up being an A student in life”. He is a fine example and a source of inspiration to many.

Among our students are young vibrant Kenyans who dropped out of school for various reasons, house helps who could not afford better education but need to change their lives, house wives who end up starting great business and any one who has a passion for culinary Arts.

Fresh ingredients including Sea food, Meats, vegetables, Fruits and many others, are the foundation of any quality recipe and that is why we train our students not only the culinary theory which is supported by relevant subjects, but also practical’s that start right from the source of the ingredients to the time one picks Folk and knife to eat.

Among the courses we offer are Sugar Craft and Pastry, Culinary Arts (food production) and Crash course in Cake Baking.

Our courses have been designed in such a manner that is short to market. What I mean by this is that we have programs that take 4 to 6 months in our institution and 4 months in industrial attachment. At the same time our primary focus is self employment. We understand that the job market can be frustrating and that is why focus on employment is secondary.

This are Programs that work as has been proven by the kind of jobs our students secure regardless of their educational and social back grounds.

Our Chief Executive Chef Daniel Mungai who is a house hold name through his many TV and radio shows and inspiring back ground not to mention his many print media articles, has broken most of the mainstream rules to come up with training methods that have pulled the carpet from under the feet of even the very best who have long training programs.

We applaud the Government of the day for facing matters education head on. They have realized that long does not necessarily increase the relevance of the training, thus TVET act 2013 which lays a lot of emphasis on vocational training. At Emma Daniel Creations that’s what we have being doing for a long time.

He understands the industry having risen through the ranks from a cleaner to a professional Chef in several 5 star hotels for many years. His is a classic case of baptism by fire. He rose from oblivion to fame the hard way.

Majority of the mainstream 5 star hotels and others boast of students from our institution. Some of the hotels that have hired the services of our students are: Sankara Nairobi, The Boma Hotel Nairobi, Norfolk Fairmount, Ole Sereni, Hemingway, Tribe Hotel, Windsor, Sarova Hotels just but to mention a few.

Government institutions like the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) which scrutinize potential candidates thoroughly has some of our students and this is prove that Chef Daniel training method which is short but sure truly changes lives.

The Best way to predict the Future is to create it and that’s exactly what Emma Daniel Arts Training Institute is doing and by extension supporting the Government of the day to achieve its 2030 and beyond goals.

Apart from crash courses, which are continuous, we have three intakes every year, which are January, June and September.

For some of the courses we ask the students to buy some relevant items, which make learning more effective by training in the own free time using the schools facilities.
